  • when arriving to school while classes are in session so as to check in to the office prior to reporting to class.
  • when there is an indoor recess due to inclement weather
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
NO PARKING on South Side of 12th Avenue
Please obey the no parking signs posted on the south side of 12th avenue in front of our school. We want to avoid students having to cross the street while there may be potential oncoming traffic. Thank you!
Warm outerwear: We'd ask that you please ensure your children are wearing warm enough outer wear for the cold weather outside! It is important that students stay warm when going outside for morning, noon and afternoon recesses.

February Gospel Virtue - Wisdom

Pay attention, and listen to the sayings of the wise. Proverbs 22:17
Instruction Manual
Angrily, the young man flung his wrench across the driveway and rolled away from the car. He had been trying for hours to change the brake pads on his small foreign car. It didn't help matters that he was at best a mediocre mechanic.  Finally, in exasperation he stormed into the house and informed his fathers that something was seriously wrong with his car.
"I don't know if anyone can fix it!" he shouted.
His father called his friend, a master mechanic. After he explained the situation, father and son ventured to the nearest library where they found a manual for the car. They made copies of the pages giving directions on how to change the brake pads. Next they stopped at a foreign-car auto-parts store and purchased a small but vital tool necessary for this particular job. Finally, they proceeded hoe to the car, and withing thirty minutes the repair job was complete.
What made the difference?  Three things; first, the young man contacted his father and them a master mechanic. The first instruction God gives us is to call upon Him. Second, they found the right set of instructions and carefully followed them. Sometimes, we insist on trying to do things without consulting the instructions. Finally, they secured the proper tool to do the job.  God will always give us the right tool if we will go and secure it.
Whether we are talking about brake pads or critical life decisions, it is amazing how well things work out when we follow instructions.

Motto:

To have knowledge, you must first have reverence for the Lord. (Book of Proverbs)

As a school, our goal is to provide a Christ-centered, student focused, caring faith community where nurturing spiritual growth will provide guidance in striving to develop knowledge, skills, positive attitudes and responsible actions in our students which in turn will result in forming responsible decision makers and moral and well educated leaders.
